Team
We’re two recent Stanford grads that have a simple problem - we can’t keep up with all the people we like. We’ve tried everything, including excel spreadsheets with macros (yes we’re a bit OCD), but found everything out there was too cumbersome and time consuming. We needed something that wasn’t more hassle than it was worth. Thus, Socialfly was born.
Dick Brouwer
Dick is the strategy and technology guru at Socialfly. He makes sure things work and keeps us in the black. A lifelong technology enthusiast, Dick developed a novel flight simulator while earning his MS in Aerospace Engineering at the Delft University of Technology, and has continued graduate-level engineering studies at Stanford. Dick also earned a BS in Economics prior to joining Booz Allen Hamilton as a strategy consultant in Europe, where he worked extensively with media companies. Dick recently graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (c/o 2008).
Nick Punt
Nick is the idea guy and product sage at Socialfly. Give him enough time on a problem and you’ll get at least one product mock along with big picture theory of why the design is optimal. Being a typical product guy, he appreciates simplicity, beauty, and the fuzzy feeling that a well designed product evokes. Nick’s done a little bit of everything - 3 years of video game design, a stint in Yahoo!’s social networking division, research design in HCI and neuroscience, and educational software development. Nick holds a BA in Psychology from UC Irvine and an MBA/MA Education from Stanford (c/o 2007).
